1100 Brakes

Guys:

All this stuff about speed bleeders and braided lines is swell, but one of the
biggest improvements I ever made to my R1100RT was changing the really mushy
feeling and "oh my, can I really stop in time?" OEM pads to EBC HH pads.
These are very easy on rotors and have increased friction coefficient over
stock and I could easily stop the bike with two fingers.   Not as easily as
with the new servo brakes, but the pads made a huge difference for the better.
The sponginess was no longer an issue for me after that.   These pads are
cheaper than OEM pads by a few bucks as well.   A terrific discovery back in
the day...
