I'm guessing that when the R1200R shows up, there will be full sized
bags and mounts that may well fit on an S.
As far as the riding position discussion goes, I put over 100,000
miles on GSXR1100s. Eventually, it wasn't the leaned forward aspect
that bothered me, although neck issues (age and crash related) were
making that more difficult, but rather, the cramped legroom. Moving to
an R1100RS was a a good first step, but when I went to the R1200GS, I
really found a good home. PLENTY of room. :-)
