Thanks Clive.
I'll let you know what I find.
A bunch of us form Ficksburg (mostly BM's) will be attending the Mustang
Rally in Mooi River, first weekend in August. Perhaps we can meet up at
that time.
We are interested to plan a +/- 500 km ride for the Saturday, if possible
returning through Underberg.
Regards,
Jim

Hi Jim,
We still have to arrange that meeting!
Our arrangement is different to most US bikes (which are always ON).
I suggest first just try exercising the on/off switch (RH side) vigourously
a few times and that should do the trick.

Subject: main beam / dipped beam
While out riding my 97 R1100R last weekend, both main and dipped beam
failed.
Initial inspection reveals that neither bulb nor fuses are blown. The main
beam will however work if I hold down the "flasher". I have started to
suspect that perhaps there is a relay involved and that this might be
faulty.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this model, or experience of a similar
problem?
