It appears there were 56 entrants in the '07 Le Mans motorcycle
endurance race, of which 34 finished. The bike appears to have a hexhead
engine. I think that makes it the R1200S, not the R1100S.
You are correct (R1200S), of course, as the article states. I've been typing "R1100S" for so long, it has become a force of habit.
