Everything is covered in dust. Monday and Tuesday the bulk of the wet area floors were cut and fit into place like a jigsaw puzzle. I’m obeying the yellow “keep off” warning tape so don’t have any close-ups, yet.
The majority of the wet area floor is done, save some needed grinding. To get the slopes correct with the number of pieces of stone required the drain in the “drying area” to be higher than the drain in the wash area. One problem: the drain couldn’t be raised quite high enough. The solution was to raise the drain as high as it could go and get the slopes right. This leaves a step (see the 4th picture, below). The step will be ground down to match the level and slope of the low piece. The net effect is that the slope boundary toward two different drains won’t be at a seam. I don’t see this as a problem.
