Spark arrester plugs removed
Spark plug
Not much time spent on the bike today. I pulled the spark plugs. They look fine. Each gap was 0.70mm. Afet that removed the plugs to blow out the spark arrester. Again, an impact wrench made the job easy. The plug at the tail end of the muffler took many impacts to loosen.
After mounting the fuel tank I started the bike and let it run for a while to circulate the new oil and then gave it some RPM. After shutting the bike down I slathered the spark arrester plugs with plenty of anti-sieze before reinstalling.
Front wheel
Rear brake
The front rotor measures about 4.00mm thick, the rear 4.37mm. Both sets of brake pads are good. So is the brake fluid level in both reservoirs. The first picture above was an attempt to show the front brake pads. That didn’t work very well, but I liked the picture.
Test ride ready
The saddle and side pannels are mounted and the oil level topped off to the full line. The bike is ready for a test ride. I’ll get it up to full operating temperature before adjusting the idle mixture. More later.

Test ride complete. Bike is running fine. The carb changes resulted in an idle that was quite low. Adjusting the mixture with the bike at operating temparature resolved that.
